Sol Wisenberg, the lawyer best known for his work in the office of independent counsel Kenneth Starr, has started a blog devoted to white-collar criminal cases. Lately, he has picked apart Ronnie Earle’s indictment of Tom DeLay, exposing problems — like the meaning of the word “funds” in the money-laundering charge — so fundamental that it is hard to see how some parts of the case can go forward. Of course, we’ll see what the judge says…
