Sen. Feinstein and One Man, One Vote


Why doesn’t she call it “one PERSON, one vote,” by the way? I’m surprised she missed this. Anyhow, she just asserted that Alito is being inconsistent in not talking about Roe, because he was willing to talk about one-man-one-vote, even though “there are four cases involving this issue before the Supreme Court.” Those four cases are actually all related (all involve the challenge to Texas’s recent redistricting), and none of them calls into question the Warren Court’s one man, one vote decision, which is all Alito had been willing to discuss.
