Some Good News For Louisiana

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit ruled this week
that, while federal law may sometimes allow racial preferences in, for
example, employment, that doesn’t mean that state law has to allow
them–and that, in fact, there is an absolute bar on such preferences
under the Louisiana constitution.
