In writing about Yale’s very own Taliban Man, John Fund has done some marvelous—and wonderfully dogged—reporting, refusing to be put off the story by the endless obfuscations of the Yale administration.
If I may, John, a suggestion: Start lobbing calls to the members of the university’s board of trustees, the Yale Corporation. They possess ulitmate responsilibity for the university—under Connecticut law, for that matter, they are the university.
I’d start with Edward Bass, a Texas investor and rancher, George Baker, a California venture capitalist, and Roland Betts, a New York businessman and former owner of the Texas Rangers. None suffers fools. Why not get each on the phone, then ask if he suffers apologists for the Taliban?
