smoke ‘em if you got ‘em, mice


Researchers at Wake Forest have found that white blood cells from cancer-resistant mice actually cure and prevent cancer in ordinary mice.  The cancer-resistant mice all descend from a single resistant mouse discovered a few years ago.  The cancer-resistance is inherited by 40 percent of the offspring.  Mice everywhere have responded to the news by taking up smoking in record numbers and standing much closer to microwave ovens.
