On the Democratic side, the ARG poll shows Hillary Clinton up in all four states, sometimes over John Edwards, and sometimes over Barack Obama. Clinton leads Edwards 31-20 in Iowa and 34-31 in South Carolina, and she leads Obama 37-12 in Nevada and 27-21 in New Hampshire (where Edwards is at 18%).
Some of the numbers are a little weird — a number of commentators have pointed out that Clinton’s solid lead in Iowa comes after another recent poll which had her fourth there — behind Obama, Edwards, and Vilsack. The ARG polls is of “likely Democratic caucus goers,” but who knows if that accounts for the difference?
As far as the Republican numbers are concerned, they’re mostly in line with what I have heard lately.
