The Corner

The one and only.

Gutenberg and Adam Smith

From loyal Corner reader and provider of innocent entertainment to millions, Pixar’s Craig Good:

About 12 years ago, on my 4-week vacation to Italy, I “packed” about
a dozen Gutenberg books onto my laptop. Now I use my phone – a Treo
650 – to read free books. I’m part way through “The Wealth of Nations”
at the moment.  I also have every single Oz book by Baum, all the Peter
Pan books, “Little Women”, and a lot of other stuff I’ve read with my daughter.
And I still have oodles of storage space….So, if you have a Palm device with a decent screen, it’s trivial to
carry a lot of literature with you. With a laptop it’s falling down easy.
You don’t necessarily have to buy a reader.
