According to Nicholas D. Thompson, gang members are not welcome in our country under the Z visa.  And yet, some 30,000 of them are here, right now.  They’re part of MS-13 and other violent, murderous gangs.  Have they been deported?  No.  Now, under the Z-visa, the government has 24-hours to conduct background checks.  If they won’t deport known gang members, what’s the point?  Will they remain “in the shadows?”  And a 24-hour background check is, in many cases, no background check at all.  What’s the rush?
