Tax Cuts for Kids

Almost regardless of who ends up being the Republican candidate in 2008, one key feature of his campaign’s policy platform will need to be a realistic tax reform that’s expressly supportive of parents. Cesar Conda and Robert Stein offer one sensible option in the current Weekly Standard. It’s hard to say if their plan adds up (there’s just not enough in this short article to tell), but it certainly has the right idea. (I tried to suggest why this was the right idea a few months ago in that same other magazine).
