Correction from AP

Last week I quoted an AP story saying Telluride’s tourism honcho was telling people who disapprove of the town’s “impeachment” of Bush and Cheney to stay away. Today the AP released the following correction: “In a July 25 story about a vote by the Telluride Town Council to call for the impeachment of President Bush and Vice President Cheney, The Associated Press erroneously attributed a statement to Tourism Board executive Scott McQuade. It was Town Council member Andrea Benda who stated that people who don’t approve of Telluride the way it is might want to stay away so they don’t end up being disappointed.” Sometimes it’s not easy being the tourism guy…
