The Write Stuff

For more than a decade, the Phillips Foundation has offered fellowships for young journalists to write books or work on other lengthy projects. The next batch of recipients will benefit from improved compensation (up to $75,000 for full-time) and increased eligibility (less than 10 years of professional writing experience).

The Foundation created this program to provide fellowships for projects to be undertaken by journalists who share the Foundation’s mission to advance constitutional principles, a democratic society and a vibrant free enterprise system.

It’s a remarkable opportunity. The deadline for applying is March 1, 2008. Details here.
