Victor Grayevsky Has Died

Whoozat, you say? He was arguably one of the most important men of the past century, because he was the guy who laid his hands on Khrushchev’s secret speech to the 20th Congress of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, the speech that reported Stalin’s many crimes, the speech that marked the beginning of the end of the Communist myth.

I’ve got lots more about it on here. It seems to me an important learning experience to discover that no publisher in the Western world cared to publish his memoirs. And yet his memoirs are very important.
