Sister Act

Today’s Wash Post has a nice front-page profile of the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia, who are charged with opening a new Catholic high school in my area. (Its excellent name is Pope John Paul the Great.) They also run the K-8 school that my own kids attend. Nuns are said to be a dying breed, but the Dominican Sisters are thriving–the ones I know are young, habit-wearing, and devout. They’re an inspiration.</b>
