(Another) Excellent Lawsuit Against the New York City Department of Education

The Center for Individual Rights has filed a class action against the New York City Department of Education for using lower admission standards for white students at its prestigious Mark Twain Intermediate School.  CIR also recently sued NYCDoEd for excluding whites and Asians from a test-preparation program elsewhere.  Apparently the agency is not particular about which race gets discriminated against in its programs, so long as some race is.  Read all about it here:  Additional kudos to the Jones Day and Rosmarie Arnold law firms for providing pro bono assistance to CIR.
