Iraq

Wish McCain, in talking about his prescience with regard to the surge, had done more to highlight Obama’s opposition.  To come, hopefully.   Am also hoping he uses this opportunity to acquaint more people with his biography. Clearly he feels a personal aversion to this, but to the average voter it gives him credibility in discussing military affairs.   In re: Obama’s “taking our eye off the ball” comment: No one ever forces those who make this claim to explain precisely how the Iraq War prevented our pursuing al-Qaeda.
