“Mr. Salazar’s most urgent task will be to remove the influence of politics and ideology from decisions that are best left to science.”

The New York Times has an editorial today on the president-elect’s Interior pick. Honest question: Is there any evidence Salazar would do the above quoted?

My best memories of him in the Senate are when he helped drive the “phony soldiers” lie about a man named Limbaugh and sharing my cab with him during inaugural week four years ago (he looked like a lost Texan to me in the snow).
