Reform Realists

Two of the best minds on American education, Chester E. Finn, Jr. and Michael J. Petrilli, who weighed in on Obama’s education secretary earlier this week in the Corner, outline their ideal federal role in K-12 education and appraise the current policy landscape. In the process, they introduce a new “camp” to the education debate, “Reform Realists.” It all can be found here. If you have questions about education policy, Finn and Petrilli are among the first two people worth consulting. Their recommendations should be read carefully and taken seriously.
