Christmas in Iraq

This picture from Saint Teriza church in Basra is well worth a click.

On a more fractious note, The Globe And Mail runs a parody column on Rudolph filing suit against Santa at the Human Rights Commission. He doesn’t get the full juice out of the conceit, but what’s significant here is that such a piece would not have appeared in Canada’s establishment newspaper a year ago, because not enough people would have got the joke. That testifies to the slow but measurable progress that Ezra Levant and I and others have made in “denormalizing” (Ezra’s word) these totalitarian PC enforcers.

More on real-life Santa suits here.

And a Merry Christmas and a Hopey Changemas to all from my beautiful snowbound corner of New Hampshire.
