The Employment Non-Discrimination Act

ENDA would add sexual orientation to the list of characteristics on the basis of which the federal government forbids discrimination. It’s been kicking around for many years, but for some reason was re-endorsed this weekend by a New York Times editorial. One hopes that Congress has enough mischief to keep it busy this year without adding this bill to the list, but in any event here are a couple of NRO postings that explain why it’s a bad idea.
