Anne Applebaum on Polanski, Ctd.

She has responded to some of her critics, notably Patterico. My quick take on the points in dispute: There’s no reason Applebaum should have had to disclose that her husband was trying to help Polanski in his official capacity in the Polish government, and there is no reason to doubt her statement that she did not know he was doing so. But I think that her take on the case is pretty hard to justify, and that she has not always had her facts straight.
