Iran: What Is to Be Done?

As Iran races to produce nuclear weapons, what should the Obama administration do?  Today on Uncommon Knowledge, author and former CIA field agent Robert Baer and military historian Victor Davis Hanson address the question—and disagree.

ROBERT BAER: The question is what can we do about it if they make a bomb? If we attack their nuclear facilities, they will take out Saudi Arabia’s major oil facilities with surface to surface missiles…ten million barrels instantly would be taken off world markets…We’d be paying $400 to $500 for a gallon of gasoline. Are we as Americans prepared to go that far? I would say no.

VICTOR DAVIS HANSON: I think there is a way to prevent them from getting any [nuclear weapons].
