The Democratic Condition Is Chronic

About the news of the weak-kneed ship-jumpers: Chris Dodd was toast before Barack Obama became an albatross; Byron Dorgan is a victim of the information age. For eons he got away with saying one thing there and doing something quite different in our nation’s capitol.

The moderates and Blue Dogs have realized that they were always intended to be sacrificed on the altar of Utopia and would rather break their own legs than have their throats slashed.

A year of Obama’s Transformation Agenda, intransigently and patronizingly executed, has compromised the Democratic-party immune system. What would have been in another environment a political head cold will be chronic walking pneumonia in this season.
