Turkish prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has complained that the West is criticizing his country for its new trade relationships with Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia, and other Muslim countries: “[W]hen it comes to Turkey investing in Arab countries or vice versa, a dirty propaganda is trying to impede this process.”
