My colleague Jerry Kammer points to a piece today in the Mexican press by former foreign minister Jorge Castaneda blaming us for that massacre of 72 illegal aliens headed in Mexico for the U.S. Castaneda’s piece is entitled “Immigration Reform or More Massacres,” and argues that the United States is primarily responsible for this and future atrocities unless we effectively open our borders. I expect the State Department is already at work incorporating this into an addendum to its report to the U.N. Human Rights Council.
