Could Dennis’s Days Be Numbered?

by Jonathan H. Adler

Rep. Dennis Kucinich has been a mainstay of the Cleveland political scene ever since his days as the “boy mayor” in the late 1970s.  He’s been in Congress since 1996, and has become something of a star for ultra-left, New Agey progressive types. But his days in Congress could be numbered — at least that is the suggestion of this report.  If so, it’s about time. Kucinich has been out of touch with his district for years, but he’s never drawn a serious Republican challenger.  It’s too soon to count Kucinich out, but I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
