ACORN and Polarization

I was pleased to see Paul Mirengoff’s recent post at Powerline, highlighting a few of the revelations from the ACORN chapter of my new book, Radical-in-Chief: Barack Obama and the Untold Story of American Socialism. There’s plenty more where that came from. I’ve looked through thousands of documents from the ACORN archive at the Wisconsin Historical Society and used them to piece together the tangled story of Obama’s involvement with the group, along with ACORN’s own larger-than-even-I-expected role in the origins of the financial crisis.

Meanwhile, I’ll be talking about Radical-in-Chief during the third hour of Hugh Hewitt’s show today. Hugh is especially interested in my way of explaining Obama’s intentionally polarizing and seemingly counter-productive campaign tactics.
