A WPITW Petition for Keith Olbermann

Dan Foster, Hugh Hewitt, and myself, Worst Persons all (and Hewitt  at least twice) are starting a petition to save Keith Olbermann — he does the world a lot of good by reminding us of what the Left is like. Any other Worst Persons want to sign on? (I drafted Hewitt, based on his tweets. I assume he is on board.)

I guess would be a worst person if my nom de plume were alive today.

here, here. let's send Keith back to sports analysis, re: which he is brilliant, and where he can make better bucks and perhaps not stroke out before his time!

just let it be. Why any of us draws attention to MSNBC I'll never know. Just treat it like QVC or a test-pattern but with fewer viewers.

Here in Colorado, one of our long time local talk show hosts was a recent WPITW for his joke about the ground zero mosque and an Iranian airliner. I hearby nominate Mike Rosen to be a signer!

If just the three of you sign it, doesn't that exceed his normal daily viewership?

Nah, let him go to The View.

Sign me up! I've been honored with a WPITW at least once--maybe more. Not sure, because they never sent me my t-shirt/gift basket/etc.

I say "Keep Keith" and "Hire Pelosi!"

Why are you giving that clown any more press/attention than he deserves? Cut him away...

Besides, he'll be like most soap opera villains; they never really "die" anyway...they always seem to come back.

Some low-rated network will hire him soon enough.

I think we should have a petition supporting Keith's guest hosts. They get better ratings, are just as loopy liberals, and we would all benefit from higher GE share prices.

If the petition fails, let me suggest a replacement for Olby: Ben Affleck.

I tend to agree with Sean's point of view, but I also can't wait for the back story.

And there is definitely a back story - their primetime star suspended for making a political contribution? I've heard better excuses from 8th graders.
