DREAM Delayed

by Katrina Trinko

The Senate just voted to table the current senate version of the DREAM Act, which means there will not be a vote on it. It appears that Harry Reid will try to hold a vote on the House version of DREAM next week, after the tax cut package has been passed. Reid may be hoping to win over some Republican senators by the delay; all 42 had pledged to block any other legislation until after the tax cuts were extended.
