Mark, let’s just do it directly. If you are out there wondering what you can do to stop the DREAM Act, here’s a list of Republican swing votes according to Numbers USA:
Susan Collins 202-224-2523
Lisa Murkowski 202-224-6665
Sam Brownback 202-224-6521
Kay Bailey Hutchinson 202-224-5922
George LeMieux 202-224-3041
Judd Gregg 202-224-3324
Olympia Snowe 202-224-5344
George Voinovich 202-224-3353
Also, there’s Joe Manchin (202-224-3954) who hasn’t come out one way or the other, although he ran as Mr. Conservative.
Thanks for posting this list Rich.
Many of the D.C. voice mails may be or are full. So please call their local offices to urge them to oppose the "Dream Act" by voting NO on cloture.
Also, call some of the Democrats such as Conrad, McCaskill, and Stabenow if you have the chance.

Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseAll of the voice mail boxes I have tried for Collins and Snowe are full (both in Maine and DC). Faxes are still working in DC. If you are a Mainer, please FAX!!

Obama's propaganda wing -- Organizing for America -- is all over this one. They're sending e-mails telling people to call Senators to provide "undocumented youth" with a "pathway to citizenship" (in non-Orwell-speak, that means give an amnesty to illegal immigrants).
The Left's advocacy machine is already hard at work, so conservatives (or just those of us who don't want to keep piling on ever-more incentives for illegal immigrants to break the laws of this country and never restore the rule of law) have a LOT of work to do on this one.
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseYou could phone the same people to SUPPORT the DREAM Act too, but I guess I'm pretty much alone as a conservative Republican who doesn't buy into the idea that driving Hispanics en masse to the Democrats is the way to ensure governing majorities in the next 20 years.
