Palin Makes S’mores in Michelle Obama’s Honor

Sarah Palin is not about to jump on the Let’s Move bandwagon anytime soon.

In last night’s episode of Sarah Palin’s Alaska, Palin made a plate of s’mores — and took a jab at the First Lady, who has made child obesity her key focus.

“This is in honor of Michelle Obama, who said the other day we should not have dessert,” announced Palin.

This isn’t the first time Palin has criticized Obama’s efforts. In an interview with radio talk show host Laura Ingraham last month, Palin said that the First Lady “is telling us is she cannot trust parents to make decisions for their own children, for their own families in what we should eat.”

“Instead of a government thinking that they need to take over and make decisions for us according to some politician or politician’s wife’s priorities,” Palin continued, “just leave us alone, get off our back, and allow us as individuals to exercise our own God-given rights to make our own decisions and then our country gets back on the right track.”
