Gregg ‘Leaning Toward Supporting’ START

As he left the closed-door session this afternoon on New START, retiring Sen. Judd Gregg (R., N.H.) told NRO that he is “leaning toward supporting” the New START treaty.

And there's the ball game.

I have never felt so mis-represented by my government. There is a real helpless feeling to all of the unprincipled politicians serving us in Washington, and this is yet another example.

If I were Cornyn I wouldnt be so sure to discount a members START position as a litmus test for 2012.

The utter stupidity of giving a guy like Judd Gregg a vote on this treaty is galling. The guy is days away from being out of his position to have a say, but he's given voice by holding a vote with so many people who won't be serving in a couple weeks.

Gregg is an insider who was almost a member of the administration, don't forget. not surprising afterall. Good riddance.

Here's what Harry Reid said about Start;

“As we move ahead, I look forward to continuing to debate amendments," Reid said. "But soon this will come down to a simple choice: you either want to keep nuclear weapons out of the hands of terrorists, or you don’t.”

Democrats continue to show that they are the most lying duplicitous, seditious, scumbags in the history of American politics. So you don't support Start then you are "for putting nuclear weapons in the hands of terrorists" unbelievable.

This treaty has absolutely nothing to do with proliferation and may actually make the situation worse.

I really cannot take the out and out lying. Thanks Nevada!!

It makes no sense to have an important treaty considered in a lame duck session of Congress. Why isn't the Senate GOP requiring the START treaty be tabled until the new Congress is sworn in?

Give the GOP a historic mid-term victory and this is what we get: repeal of DADT and ratification of START within days of each other.
