I am all in favor of the repeal vote scheduled for ObamaCare (By the way, I for one will stop using that phrase when A) When someone offers a remotely good reason I should stop, B) Obama stops bragging about getting his healthcare reform proposal passed and C) When Democrats stop calling them the “Bush tax cuts for the wealthy”). But I do hope somebody in the GOP boiler room is working diligently on part two of the promise. You know, that bit about replacing it with something better.
Conservatives should not wax nostalgic about how “good” the healthcare system was before ObamaCare. Repealing ObamaCare is necessary. But real reform will require replacing it with something better than both ObamaCare and the status quo ante.
