Ghailani Sentenced to Life Imprisonment in Embassy Bombings

Ahmed Ghailani, the al-Qaeda terrorist who was convicted on only one count, and acquitted on 284 counts, in his civilian trial for bombing the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania in 1998 has been sentenced to life imprisonment (without parole) by federal judge Lewis Kaplan.
