Planned Parenthood Reacts

Last week, Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards reportedly sent Attorney General Eric Holder a letter to complain about Live Action investigating them for sex-trafficking, calling their undercover investigative work a “hoax.” But in the wake of footage released this morning of a New Jersey Planned Parenthood clinic employee’s willingness to aid a sex trafficker as he looked to streamline abortion, testing, and birth-control services for underage girls illegally in the country in a chillingly routine way, a Planned Parenthood official in New Jersey admits the obvious: Planned Parenthood did something criminally wrong:

Phyllis Kinsler, chief executive officer of Planned Parenthood of Central New Jersey, added that the clinic employee’s behavior, as portrayed on the video, “violates PPCNJ policies, as well as our core values of protecting the welfare of minors and complying with the law, and appropriate action is being taken.”

Others complain — and worry — that the full video of the LiveAction clinic visit is not being released. But it’s on Live Action’s website. And YouTube, in two parts here and here.

What is the right wing obsession with p*mps? I don't think they exist anymore.

This isn't the first time Planned Parenthood has been caught on videotape violating it's own policies - and the law - with regard to minors. And there's never any explanation from law enforcement or local officials about why there are no penalties attached to these repeated violations.

Let's get this straight. We've got video of a Planned Parenthood employee conspiring with two people to handle abortions for a criminal underage prostitution and sex trafficking ring without raising suspicions, and Jason's only question relates to his fantasy about right wing obsessions with p*mps? I'd think he was joking, if I didn't know people just like him.

No, it's not the full video; LiveAction clearly states that it's abridged.

You're making an embarrassing mistake being taken in with yet another one of O'Keefe's (or his associate's) hoaxes. One would think you'd learn after Louisiana. Or finally recognizing the bogus Acorn "expose."

You buy into it because you want to buy into it, despite the known history of O'Keefe's pranks and this current one having already been reported by PP to the FBI a week ago.

Enjoy your most recent faux-outrage.

I would have thought Holder was on speed-dial. That is his role, after all.

Nice troll, Donz. I like how you hand-wave away the massive amount of malfeasance O'Keefe discovered while also seeking to tie this to him with no proof at all.

Lila Rose and her ilk have been showing to be liars.

They probably went to two dozen places, and at 23 of them, they were kicked out on the street. Which is why the director of Planned Parenthood new about this, and why she reported it to the AG before this video was even released.

There were probably tons of calls to police about this hoax. Can you imagine how many police man-hours were probably wasted as police looked into all the places they went, until they realized it was just some attention-seeking kids who hate poor people?

They find one stupid employee out of God knows how many, and then trumpet it. I would like to see all the video of people turning them out on their butts.

They aren't Planning Parenthood

And apparently the Eugenicists of "Planned Parenthood" do believe in Pi**s and behave as though assistance to Pi**s, at tax-payer expense, is routine.

They visited at least 11 clinics, and AG Holder was warned that it was either a sex trafficking ring that required investigation, or a hoax.

Will Lila Rose release the videotape from the other places?

From PP director's statement, which the AP ran last week, before the release of the video:

"If a multistate sex trafficking operation is in place, those responsible must be pursued to stop the exploitation of girls and young women," said Schear. "If these visits are part of a 'dirty tricks' campaign, they must be condemned. Falsely claiming sex trafficking to health professionals to advance a political agenda is an astoundingly cynical form of political activity.""

I agree.

So please conservatives, if you actually care about victims of sex trafficking (which I doubt), please persuade Jeff Sessions to lift his hold on the bill that would help sex trafficking victims, instead of engaging in this BS.

Ditch -- do keep up with the inconvenient fact that O'Keefe and Rose have worked together in the past: "O'Keefe helped plan and produce undercover videos with pro-life activist Lila Rose in 2006 and 2007 that [allegedly] showed several Planned Parenthood workers willing to circumvent state laws requiring that abortion clinics report statutory rape. The videos received national attention. O'Keefe met Rose, a UCLA student, while he was visiting the university as a Leadership Institute campus representative in 2006. With O'Keefe's support and advice Rose launched her first foray in activism at the UCLA campus health center."

As to the "massive amount of malfeasance O'Keefe discovered," that fiction has been thoroughly destroyed after the unedited video was exposed. Funny, that.

After reading some of the comments here I believe there may be a problem with the "Approved NRO commenters" system. These are mostly trolls.

RiotLibrarian: If it is true they visited 11 clinics, then why would Planned Parenthood allow them to leave, instead of calling the police immediately as any normal decent person would do if confronted with evidence of sex slavery and sex trafficking?

Instead they just let the man walk out the door and go free, and only get interested in his crimes after how much time has gone by?

Sounds like their press release is some after-the-fact covering of one's backside. It's certainly not evidence that they take the well-being of underaged girls very seriously.

Per the Washington Post :

"Lila Rose began infiltrating abortion clinics in 2006. One of her early collaborators was James O'Keefe, who later became famous for wearing a p*mp costume in a video that embarrassed the community"

@joro, how do you know they didn't? We know that the national organization contacting the FBI when a pattern emerged; I wouldn't be surprised if they did call them, and a bunch of police time was wasted responding to Lila Rose's self-serving nonsense.

You're just making wild guesses as to what happened, with no evidence, because you're afraid the facts may not be what you wish.

William C, are you saying that only trolls would point out that O'Keefe's and Rose's past reports have been problematic? It does seem that they prefer an investigative style that includes heavily edited video. In the long run, I'm not sure I would want them on my side of an issue.

It's odd, isn't it, how editing video is bad when people on the right do it, but worthy of Oscars and Nobels when people on the left do it?

RiotLibrarian's "proof" (following her external link) about O'Keefe amounts to an article on Gawker about the results of a witchhunt and intimidation by CA Attorney General (now Governor) Jerry Brown. It is simply not true that "that fiction has been thoroughly destroyed after the unedited video was exposed". The sources are not credible because they are so extremely biased to the left and the coercion used was classic; silence the messenger who speaks truth to power.

Live Action's work exposing the details of ACORN and Planned Parenthood's vile work is the sort of thing only the young would do... they're the only ones who know it can't be done.

The work of Planned Parenthood is thoroughly evil and no amount of Naxi "big-lie" ranting and coercion can cover that up. The (yes, overused) Nazi reference comes to mind because I'm just now reading Metaxes's new biography of Bonhoeffer, who was shot for attempting to kill Hitler during the war. I'm at the part where the Nazi's are shutting down debate in the mid-30's, before Hindenburg died and they started killing people to shut them up. RiotLibrarian's posts fit their pattern to a T. But like their antecedents in Germany the left will have to go all the way to actually shut up the dissenters in the debate over the sacredness of life.

The woman in the video is either part of the prank, or for real; either way, she should be arrested either for lying " false reporting" or for not obeying the law that should be protecting the young girls..
