Blue Dogs howl a lot, but when it comes time to vote, they vote with Obama, be they Senator or Congressman. Consequently, one cannot rely upon them to put the interests of the country first. Just look at their voting records. Words are just words, but actions are what counts and their actions put the lie to their words. Till the Blue Dogs begin to actually stand up for some conservative issues, they are just enabling the continuation of the slide to socialism.
Schuler is an opportunist, he's a yellow dog. I don't trust him, he reminds me of a slick used car salesman. I believe he supports cap and trade, he voted againt Obamacare once Pelosi had enough votes to he was "allowed" to vote no.
One thing is apparent, he thinks mighty highly of himself.
Obama/Pelosi/Reid ignored the advice of the blue dogs from sun and rust belt swing districts, and went hard left.
Therefore, the blue dogs were decimated in the mid term elections.
Then, after the mid terms, Obama started making blue dog noises, but too late to save any blue dog seats, i.e., think of how many blue dog seats could have been saved if Obama had announced support for extending the Bush tax cuts before the election.
Wouldn't you be ticked?
Ditto all the other comments. Blue Dog is just another name for "let's see how we can fool voters into thinking we allow Conservative viewpoints in the Democratic Party."
Yet another (D) claiming he's a Reaganite. Big surprise. Guys like Shuler are Arlen Specter style Democrats. Watch your back.
To the extent there were patsies convinced to run as Democrats in red districts: they served their purpose as Useful Idiots, and most of them were sent packing in November. Pelosi is glad they are gone because they were recruited to ride the Hate Bush wave, give a huge (D) majority, and enact a hard Left agenda. Then they took the electoral bullet.
The last question is the gem in this clip. Now, we don't know if he is thinking of the true RR or the revisionism that SFH addressed last week.

Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseWell, someone gave him his marching order on flipping his ObamaCare vote. Maybe it was Daniel Snyder.
