MEMRI has it, here. Bottom line:
I hereby issue a fatwa to the officers and soldiers who can kill Mu’ammar Al-Qadhafi: Whoever among them can fire a bullet at him, thus relieving the country and the people of him, should do so. This man wants to annihilate the people, so I am protecting the people. I rule that whoever can fire a bullet, and relieve us, as well as Libya and its great people, of this man’s evil and danger, should do so.
Here! Here! Why didn't we think of that? Oh, on Drudge right now, the White House has nothing to say on Libya. Strange to pin our hopes on a fatwa, to pin our prayers on Sheikh Yusuf. Strange days indeed!
Yeah, I know, it's just a little tongue in cheek. Obama will just never be a man of action. What would Reagan do?

Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseMore of that good old fashioned "religion of peace and love," eh? As I understand it, Mr. Qaradawi is a highly educated and respected academician and expert on sharia law. Where are those Muslim moderates to explain that even such a man as Mr. Qaradawi stands on the lunatic fringe of Muslim thought?
Reply to this commentLinkReport Abusethis one is a no-brainer...
every president since reagan has wished they could snap their fingers and get rid of qaddafi, and would be on the glory trail to claiming a hand in his removal.
no one in the arab region, or the globe at large, would lift a finger to stop any removal. it isn't even as if we have to commit forces. this guy gave up his wmd when we blew down saddam's house. he was the only guy.
all the admin has to do is 'suggest' they will 'consider' using force, within a week...
(how long does it take to get 35 state dept workers out anyways?)
call it the 'check' strategy.
43 would have him out of the country by now. 44? possibly the weakest world super power leader, ever.
the public overture could be a 'feeler' for lybian public sentiment, which may wind up greeting us with those 'flowers' we heard so much about in Iraq.
the biggest loser of the lybian collapse?
Reply to this commentLinkReport Abusethe brits who negotiated the lockerbie bomber release in exchange for oil contracts, with qaddafi's son. 'something for nothing'.
"Raheem, my brother, are you listening? This is the time to put the Muslim Brotherhood into power in Libya."
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseI think this should be considered good fatwah from greate Islamic scholar.
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseFOA,i leave aside Sheikh Yusuf Qaradawi. I questioned why khadafi did not make free election for shown to the world that he had worked for democracy.
