This cartoon elegantly demonstrates the perception by some that the United States must be at the reins of every major event in world history, regardless of the players and the stakes involved. I think many viewers from other countries would see this perceived lack of U.S. influence as a major improvement in foreign relations.

Tumby Jngh: Yes, I am sure the Libyan populace is extremely pleased that the US has not set up a no-fly zone over them. They are also chuckling to themselves that Obama is waiting on an international consensus as to supporting them when in fact one was reached a long time ago in Europe and Obama is curiously absent from that international consensus. "Oh, that nasty W!" they must be thinking.

Yeah, it's great not being in the saddle, and Obama and others that think like you will make certain that we end up under the hooves.

The cartoon would be more accurate if it had Obama holding on by something other than the camel's reins.

I really do not need a picture of this, cartoon or otherwise. But I have to say I found the website chosen ironic.
