If the NPR Board Was Savvy

by Jonah Goldberg

They’d try very hard to find a conservative or conservative-leaning libertarian to become the new head of NPR. There’d be a lot of jeers and catcalls from the Right, but that kind of criticism would be better than all of the alternatives. It’s hard to think of someone who would A) take the job and B) be good for the job. The only person with the qualifications that comes to mind is Jim Glassman. The good news for him is that NPR will never take my advice.
