At Robert Spencer’s Jihad Watch, we learn Canadian authorities and school officials don’t know quite what to do about a McGill University Muslim student who has written that he’d like to “shoot everyone in the room” at a conservative student organization, that the organization is a “secret Zionist convention” to which he “should have brought an M16,” and that — in response to the club’s showing of “Indoctrinate-U,” a documentary about political correctness on college campuses — “the jihad begins today.”
We further learn that a gay couple in the Netherlands is suing the mayor and police in Utrecht for failing to protect them from young Muslim immigrants (“Moroccan youths”) who repeatedly attacked their home and vandalized their car until the couple finally left town, the police having told the couple they were unable to take action against the aggressors. (The religion of peace holds that homosexuals should be killed — “in the worst, most severe way of killing,” says Ayatollah Ali Sistani, our country’s cherished ally in the new Iraqi “democracy.”)
When “youths” are aboard, even gay rights and “hate speech” codes have to ride in the back of the bus.
Sooner or later, an outrage so unspeakable will force our wimpy weak society to take a firm stand and smash these "youts". Of course, the victim(s) will have to be an equally sacred cow of the left, i.e., an Afro Methodist Episcopal church in Detroit or Birmingham, not a Catholic one in Pasadena or Omaha.
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseThe Canadian authorities are probably paralyzed as to if they are required to give the young Muslim an M-16 and ammunition or not. The figure hey if a few conservatives are gunned down then the Muslim rage will cool and the rest of Canada will be safe...
As to Europe I think as the Muslim threat grows Homosexuals will be driven farther and farther in the Right/libertarian camp out of a sense of self-preservation. they may loathe it but staying left-wing will just get them all killed.

Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseYou have to wonder when the perspective of gay leaders in the U.S.A. will switch from "we're both minorities and outsiders" to "they're trying to kill us". Maybe after an attack on a "pride" parade through certain Detroit suburbs (if they dare)?
Just to be clear: is McCarthy saying that the students and the couple threatened are part of "grievance industries"?
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseNow we know why the US Army glossed over the behavior of Hasan, the Fort Hood shooter. Embracing Muslims is just another way to tweak the conservatives. When something like this occurs, they can't react. Muslims are supposed to love liberals like any other protected group does.
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseNever underestimate the ability of people's irrational hatreds and fears (of Christianity, conservatism, traditionalism, etc.) to trump their true self-interest.
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseThe Canadian authorities don't know what to do? That IS the problem. Don't offend the little tyke, whatever you do. Does anyone have a set anymore? When are we going to tell the "pc" crowd to GET LOST!
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseSomething tells me that if some white supremacist outfit had perpetrated the above-described events the authorities would quickly and rightly "know quite what to do."
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseI think someone around here wrote a book about how the Left and Radical Muslims are both Anti-West collectivists so they collude when convenient. The stupid Left doesn't yet realize that once the West is defeated, all their sacred cows (abortion, gay rights, women's superiority) will vanish. I'm still perplexed by the Jewish Left; you'd think they'd have a sense of vulnerability .
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseDoes Mark Steyn know about this? He is an expert on Canadian hate speech. Hell, he's the poster boy.
Reply to this commentLinkReport Abuse@PatrickJ My belief is just one about timing. So far Muslim threats have been just far enough away and useful enough against the right wing to be ignored. Soon it will "feel" a lot closer to home you will see movement then. Same with feminists you will see movement on the issue as the Muslim threat gets "closer" to them.
Leftists Jews well you have a good point but a lot of far left congressmen and such are still staunchly pro-Israel that is something to be grateful for. But you do have a good point.
You may be right that most of the them will sacrifice themselves to Islamists just to spite the Right-wing but some of them, I think, will move and that will make for truly interesting times...
Just a side note you see this movement a little in the abortion debate as we get closer to identifying the so called "gay-gene" many homosexuals are starting to become remarkably pro-life. It has not reached any kind of critical mass yet but you can see it out there.
