Forty-one percent of Americans believe Republicans have been “more reasonable” than Democrats in the budget negotiations, a new poll for The Hill finds. Twenty-nine percent believe Democrats have been more sensible, 22 percent believe neither party has been reasonable, and 7 percent are undecided.
Nevertheless, Americans’ voting preferences remain virtually the same from 2010. Forty-five percent say they voted Republican last year, and 47 percent say they would do so now. Forty percent say they voted Democratic last year, and 42 percent say they would do so now. Read more here.
