Lindsey Graham Digs In Deeper

This is just embarrassing.

The guy “putting the troops at risk” here is Senator Graham, and General Petraeus and the other advocates of the one-way multiculti danse macabre. They’re telling our enemies the more you tread on our toes the more we’ll pretend not to notice and try to waltz you gaily round the floor one more time.

Pre-emptive capitulation only invites more and more provocations. Like the Arabs say, a falling camel attracts many knives.

Exactly, why do the murderers get to decide who is responsible for their crimes?

Osama bin Laden was right about one thing: in the Middle East, they only respect a "Strong Horse." And with leaders like Lindsay Graham, Harry Reid and of course Obama, we're appearing more gimpy-legged all the time. At this rate, we'll be sent to the glue factory very soon.

Anyone who believes in the West should defend Pastor Jones, no matter what you think of him personally or of his beliefs. If there is no right to offend someone by one's speech, then there is no real freedom of speech.

As though banning the burning of the Koran would satisfy these people. Before Pastor Jones it was cartoons and before that it was Salman Rushdie. Tomorrow it will be the next thing. At the end of the day what offends them is our VERY EXISTENCE. Until we convert or die, they will always find a pretext for their violence.

Taunt your enemy when you know you can defeat him no matter how much you motivate him.

How much faith do you have in Obama and Sammy Powers?

Thought so.

Lindsey needs to listen to this little ditty from 2006:

Kudos to Costa on that interview!

Interesting how Graham immediately buys into the Koran burning as the cause of the outburst. I thought Americans killing muslims (i.e. Libya) were the cause of violence? Oh that's right, Obama is in charge, so yeah it must be the Koran burning.

I bet more Americans would be happier to kill the people protesting than they would for limiting anyone's ability to burn a Koran.

Did Senator Graham speak out against NEA funding of P--- Christ? Just wondering.

Graham states, "I wish we could hold people accountable for their actions, but under free speech, you can’t."
So he does not subscribe to the principal of free speech? He's a whirling dervish dancing around the question, despite the best efforts of the interviewer, but at core, the senator makes no sense.

I'm getting visions of a scene from a Bugs Bunny cartoon with Bugs leaning against a camel, holding a Quran in one hand and a Ronson in the other, while Yo Semmitee Esam and El Mehr Fudd look on, aghast. After many false starts, he, of course, lights it up, causing the mooks to advance so that they may dispatch him to Allah, whereupon he instantly produces another, and another, and eventually pulls back a curtain showing a warehouse simply filled with piles of books surrounded by men with flamethrowers.
They, as usual, faint straight away.
I think I've discovered what's wrong! All the really violent cartoons haven't been shown in years, and children grow up staring at gay, purple dinosaurs and such, and they never learn how to stick up for themselves.
Let's try a mental exercise: try to imagine Eric Holder, Barack Obama, or even Lindsay Graham, laughing at Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, or God forbid! Woody Woodpecker. I can't do it. No one raised on Looney Tunes (or even Rudyard Kipling) could ever be as big a weenie as it takes to be a politician today. If I ever went to my Father, and told him I was being bullied at school, I know what he would have said, "I'll show you bullying! Don't be such a wuss. Are you sure you're my son?"
Thank you, Dad.

Even more embarrassing is that Colonel Graham,USAF Reserve, is a military judge.

I think the Senator had to end his NRO interview short. He had Bibi Netanyahu on the other line...
Bibi...Bibi, my dear Bibi, don’t you understand that poor Israeli family was murdered because your very existence riles them up so. Why don’t you stop being so inflammatory, you know it’s just so easy to pack up your quaint lil’ country and move down yonder and then they won’t murder you anymore...it’s just so easy Bibi...

"Embarrassing?" It was pathetically so. Just a bunch of dithering with a nonsensical connection to flag burning. If that's the best he can do he really hasn't a clue.

you know what REALLY puts troops at risk? War.

Fighting a useless war in Afghanistan. Killing and being shot at, in pursuit of nothing. Burning resources with no purpose.

Now -- would it look like a "defeat?" Would it look like a "victory" for the Islamists? Yeah maybe, but we're beyond worrying about PR at this point. Bring the troops home. There's no reason for them to BE in Afghanistan, targeted by savages for whatever savage reason they invent today.

I wish Lindsey Graham was remotely as opposed to illegal "immigration" (invasion) as he is to "Qu'ran" burning.

From my perspective, it is pretty cool that you can burn an easily-replaceable copy of a book in Gainesville, Florida, and 10,000 miles away people go berserk and spend days rioting and killing one another. I want Pastor Terry Jones to now start burning statues of the "Virgin of Guadaloupe".

Let me get this straight.......cartoons of Mohammed can cause terrorist to become angry,Gitmo can cause terrorist to become angry, and the latest is burning the Koran will make terrorist become angry.IF WE ARE GOING TO FIGHT A WAR IT'S ABOUT TIME TO TAKE THE POLITICALLY CORRECT CHAINS OFF OUR TROOPS HANDS AND FIGHT IT TO WIN.THAT AND ONLY THAT WILL MAKE OUR TROOPS SAFE..........IDIOTS!

General Petraeus has forgotten one of the most important reasons his men and women are prosecuting the war.

That is sad. Is he too old or too political?

Ok. This is a bit silly. Can someone tell Graham and our great General that the only reason why are troops are in danger is because...they are fighting a freaking war. This is what happens if you are still occupying a foreign Muslim country. I suspect if they were home like tomorrow, this would no longer be an issue.
