A new poll by Neighborhood Research of Iowa Republicans shows that Mike Huckabee is the frontrunner, with 21 percent of primary voters supporting him. Mitt Romney comes in second at 14 percent. All of the other candidates poll below 10 percent.
But if Huckabee, Sarah Palin, and Donald Trump do not run, the numbers shift dramatically. In that scenario, Romney would win Iowa, backed by 21 percent of voters. Gingrich would come in second with 12 percent, while Tim Pawlenty and Michele Bachmann would receive about six percent of the vote each.
