Note the pattern of Palestinians who murder the groupies and apologists who join them to aid in their dream of eliminating Israel.
● Angelo Frammartino, an Italian, was killed by stabbing in eastern Jerusalem in August 2006 by someone affiliated with Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
● Juliano Mer-Khamis, who appears to have been an Israeli citizen, killed in early April 2011 in Jenin by persons unknown.
● Vittorio Arrigoni, another Italian, killed in recent days in Gaza by a Salafi group holding him hostage.
(Readers are requested to send in further examples that I may have missed; and this list will be updated as needed.)
Comments: (1) These murders neatly sum up the frenzy and depravity within Palestinian society, surely the sickest on earth, what with its suicide factory, its celebration of terrorists, and its cult of death. (2) Consistent with this morbidity, it also devours its admirers.

A member of al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades has been arrested for Juliano Mer-Khamis's murder:

Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseIt makes you wonder how anyone can support these obviously evil people. It also makes you wonder why millions of our tax dollars are going to fund them. Oh well, these things are above my pay grade. Certainly the administration has some noble reason to support such savages.
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseThe thing is that people don’t really support the Palestinians, they oppose the Jewish state. The actions of the Palestinians are literally irrelevant to them because Israel’s existence is what they really oppose. If Israel were any other state besides a Jewish state, neither Vittorio Arrigoni, nor any other “Activist” would give a fig, or these “Activists” would be devoting their activism to the dozens of real human rights abuses being perpetrated by countries other than Israel. For this reason, the “International Community” will hold the Palestinians who murder Pro Palestinian activists blameless. If you doubt this, imagine how the “International Community’s” reaction would differ if Israel had murdered these activists.

"The 52-year old Mer-Khamis, a pro-Palestinian political activist born to a Jewish mother and Arab father, has previously received death threats after establishing the Freedom Theater at Jenin's refugee camp."
Reply to this commentLinkReport Abuse@JRapp: I agree with your analysis, but what it seems to be saying, without saying it, is that the world is antisemitic and that's why they are 'for' the Palestinians (which is really just being against the Jews).
I can't argue with this, though I wish it weren't true, and it defies logic why this is the case. The Jewish people are small in number, their territory is the size of Delaware.
Why, after millennia, is the world still hating Jews?

Both Christians (including post-Christian atheists) and Muslims see Jews as rejectionists. Hard to see how you could fix that without major cultural uprooting.

Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseThere was that woman who dressed up in a white wedding gown and went on a trek throughout the Middle East. She was murdered in rural Turkey (guess her murderer didn't appreciate her "peace" message.) quote: "Italian 'peace bride' raped, murdered in Turkey" AP 2008
"A 33-year old Italian artist, Giuseppina Pasqualino, also known as Pippa Bacca, was found dead in Turkey on Saturday, after having been raped and murdered. Paqualino was hitchhiking towards Israel dressed in a wedding dress in an appeal for peace."
