How low will liberals sink in their campaign to smear Paul Ryan’s Medicare plan?
(At least) this low, apparently:
If you thought that was absurd, consider how the group responsible for the ad describes its mission:
The Agenda Project’s goal is to build a powerful, intelligent, well-connected political movement capable of identifying and advancing rational, effective ideas in the public debate and in so doing ensure our country’s enduring success.
Between out-dated political parties, self-interested multi-national corporations, and ineffectual elected officials, good values and common sense have lost their power in the public debate. Our goal is to return normal Americans to the center of the policy debate by cultivating an understanding of public policy, facilitating common action, and connecting the best ideas and the strongest leaders with engaged citizens, elected officials, the media, political insiders, and experts through a variety of in-person and on-line platforms.

It's hilarious, but not for the reasons they likely intended.
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseAre we sure this isn't a Newt Gingrich ad?
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseScurrilous nature of the group aside, I must say - it's a pretty funny ad.

Hey! That was my first thought too Oilwatcher.
But in all seriousness, what an absurd ad based on lies to scare seniors away from the GOP.
Stay strong Rep. Ryan, we got your back.

Now, I want to see the same commercial remade except with President Obama pushing the wheelchair and Lady Liberty in the wheelchair. Then, Obama dumps her into the back of a garbage truck with "US DEBT" written on the site. The punch line: is America beautiful with its unsustainable, crushing debt?
Reply to this commentLinkReport Abusewhat do you expect from "radical" "right-wing social engineering"?
(thanks again, Newt)

Funny post. Hilarious how Progressives think they can lie forever and continue to drive America into the toilet. The jig is up baby! People are waking up.
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseThey have a history of campaigns lacking in taste.

Yes (as mentioned previously), goals, not integrity.

Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseYou mean that wasn't Nancy Pelosi in the wheel chair, without her make up and botox?
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseRemember the "new civility" that the Democrat/media axis were shrieking for a few weeks ago? That went down the memory hole so fast it created a sonic boom.
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseNext on deck from the Agenda Project: Paul Ryan as Richard Widmark pushing a crippled lady down the stairs a la "Kiss of Death"!
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseAt least as funny as the ad were the syntax/grammar of the opening bit: "In 1965, America made Medicare into law." What was it before being made "into law"?
