National Review Online has (through methods that cannot be disclosed at this time) obtained an exclusive copy of Senate Budget Committee chairman Kent Conrad’s (D., N.D.) FY2012 budget resolution.
Maybe Mr. Stiles should consider founding another website (to mirror Kos?) where the right can post garbage.
But this organization now spends its time with posts like this. When does Paul Ryan balance the budget?? 2060? 2080? And it was just a month or so ago that this magazine was trumpeting the "historic" CR that ended up INCREASING outlays!!
Dude. Chill. This is a blog, not the magazine proper. Plus there has always been satire in National Review. Have you ever, you know, looks at the cover of the magazine? Relax big guy.
Whoosh. That is the sound of this post going over your head. You complain about how long the Ryan budget gets to balance, and yet you miss the whole point of this post! The Ryan budget is the only game in town. The Dem budget? still waiting for it as this post points out. Now do you get it?
Thanks, Andrew!! It's late Friday evening out here on the Left Coast, I'm still working (ostensibly to support the free-loading class of the USA!) and I REALLY needed that laugh!!
My CAPTCHA is perfect for you, "ball of confusion." Reid says the dems don't need to submit a budget? So this is the perfect response. Even WFB, with his perfect, angelic, heavenly knowledge now, would think this a mass of question marks. You are not a serious person. But you are welcome here none the less.
After 6pm now, Saturday on Christmas Island. No reports of earthquakes or rapture. Guess the dems might have to submit a budget after all.
I'm having trouble running this through my regression analysis tool. Are the ? units in $Billions or $Trillions? Has Jim Manzi had a chance to conduct a falsifiable, double-blind, study yet?
@Bob: Ryan's plan balances the budget by 2015, excluding interest payments. In the immortal words of WFB, "Neener, neener, neener. Thbbpt!"
LOL!
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseNot only have they offered this budget, but it balances! Can't ask for more than that! Heh...
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseKrugman must have obtained a copy too, because he just denounced it as "painful austerity" and "cruel."
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseIt looks remarkably balanced.
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseThis is William Buckley's magazine. Wow.

Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseMissing that "And then a miracle happens here!", as well as unicorn droppings and dried fairy wings.

Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseI must say the Dem's have provided far greater detail in this one, than any of their previous efforts!

Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseBob just proved, once again, that liberals lack a sense of humor.
Mr. Bob, laugh a little. It's good for you. Helps get you through the day. I'm a little worried if your shorts got in a twist about this.
