Sarah Palin just arrived at Trump Tower. The governor warmly greeted some people waiting to see her before her meeting with Donald Trump.
Asked by National Review Online what she though of Trump’s donations to Democrats, Palin cheerfully rejoined, “I think I’ll go change his mind right now and make sure he’s contributing to constitutional conservatives.”
“I think I’ll go change his mind right now and make sure he’s contributing to constitutional conservatives.”
Love. This.
Notice that she didn't say "Republicans" but "Constitutional Conservatives". Cue the next outcry from PantsCrease Brooks & CO on how Palin is not a "team player"...LOL
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseGood answer, Mrs. Palin. Not all Republicans are conservatives and not all Democrats are liberals. Palin supports conservative principles, not Republican principles. Quite frankly, what are Republican principles? As far as I can tell, the answer to that question depends on whether you're asking Scott Brown, Olympia Snow, Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski or Marco Rubio, Allen West, Michelle Bachman and Paul Ryan.
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbusePlease. Palin doesn't care about anything but herself - she's a perfect match for Trump, they are both cynical opportunists looking for the next niche market to exploit.
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseI love that as well and I'm not what folks would term a "Palin backer" (though not in the Palin-hater club).
I love the fight in that woman and wish more pols could capture it. I may not "get" the full-throated supporters source of zeal, but I sure know the source of the hatred. Strong women intimidate beta men.
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseThis is nearly as amusing as commenters who suggested that she's traveling on SarahPac's nickel for a "family vacation." Were Trump not so wealthy I'm guessing the "grisly mama" wouldn't give him the time of day. Check your principles at the door when you're cadging for cash.
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseThe governor? That made me laugh out loud. I think you mean "the television personality."
