Britain proved it in the 18th century, America in the 19th and 20th, and now countries as diverse as Chile, Hong Kong, and New Zealand are proving it across the globe: Economic freedom is good for people. This compelling new video from economicfreedom.org illustrates the positive effects of economic freedom in a very simple, understated, yet memorable way. As the head of CEI’s Center for Economic Freedom, I have to say I feel just a little vindicated by it!
What Britain proved in the 18th century was that imperialism, colonialism, and mercantilism were good for Britain. Very little of their trade was "free".
I don't think this video accounts fully for recent events.
This exponential curve is about to level out and shorten a bit as assorted dreams come due.
