Jeffery Immelt, in his part as in-house CEO, now lectures businesses to start hiring. That has about as much weight as someone lecturing him, at a time of national debt and deficit crises, to ensure that his company GE does not use loopholes to deprive the treasury of desperately needed income-tax revenue on some $14.2 billion in 2010 GE profits.
