RSC Chair Shoots Down McConnell Plan

Rep. Jim Jordan (R., Ohio), chairman of the conservative Republican Study Committee, tells NRO that while he hasn’t reviewed all the details of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s (R., Ky.) “contingency plan,” he doesn’t see much of a future for it in the House. “Look, we’re for cut, cap and balance,” he says. “[McConnell's plan] doesn’t fly with me, and I don’t think it’s going to fly with conservatives over here in the RSC.”
