A lot of books show up on my desk. But somewhere in the capsizing piles, Prayer in a Digital Age by Matt Swaim jumped out at me. Of course, then I did not really have time to read it — because I was too busy hitting refresh and posting in various places online. Which, as you might imagine, he talks a bit about in the book. It is a smart book and a deep breath. One that is hard to ignore if you believe your life is about something more than what you are clicking on right now, if you believe that what you are clicking on has an influence on who you are and how you relate to others. Anyway, you can read my interview with the author here, over at The National Catholic Register, and you can buy the book here
